A modern presentation gives shoe repairs the right image.

Not far from Rotterdam, wedged between the Hollandsche IJssel and Lek rivers, lies Krimpel aan de IIssel, boasting 30,000 inhabitants. The de Groot family has been active in the sale and production of shoes since 1921. Since Pieter de Groot, now the third generation, took over the business in 1992, it has fully specialised in repairing the higher quality shoes in the greater surrounding area. Pieter: "I am happy to repair cheaper shoes, but I charge more for this as it takes longer."
Due to the change from a shop with repairs being carried out by a number of staff to a one-man business, it was high time to modify both the machinery and the layout. Pieter commented on his decision: "Jos America has been a reliable company for many years, even when things were not going well in the repair sector. And they currently supply the best machines and the best service. The Flexam City is the perfect solution when it comes to my high requirements in terms of efficient work in the small space available without trouble from noise and dust. I also liked the attractive modern design. And if I do say so myself, it has given the workshop a fantastic image."
