Just how good is the new Flexam City Finishing Machine?.
We thought this might be an opportune moment to
detail some of the incredible advantages this machine offers.
Rather than tell you these benefits ourselves we thought we would
leave it to a couple of our satisfied customers, award winning
cobbler Brian Curry and his son Andrew of Curry's Service Centre
in Bury St. Edmunds.
Brian believes that as an owner /operator he should invest
in the best available machine, with a view on long-term health
and safety. He believes he has achieved with this his new
Flexam City finisher.
The Flexam City gives an ultra smooth operation with
off-board controls that aid the ease of use. The machine is set
out in such a way that it is easy for 2 person operation.

The revolutionary dust filtration system features automatic operation
venting with light sensors which knows which parts of the machine
are being used and only opens the necessary vent. This has also
impressed Brian. He finds that he is emptying his easily accessed
dust draw more often because of the better extraction,
coupled with the automatic electric bag shaker, which is electrically
timed and set by the customer.
Overall his workshop is an appreciably cleaner environment due
to the fact that the Flexam's dust filtration unit returns cleaned
air back into the workplace free of impurities and dust.
Curry's Service Centre is also a quieter place. In fact both
Brian and Andrew find they can work longer on this machine. Before
installing the new Flexam City Finisher the noise and dust necessitated
the need to take a break from working every couple of hours. Not
any more. Both men are able to work longer and better getting
more work done quicker. In fact Brian feels as fresh when he finishes
work as when he starts.
In conclusion Brian adds that, If I had another shop I
would not hesitate to put another Flexam City finisher into it.
Furthermore Brian has declared the machine to be twenty
years ahead of its time. We won't disagree!
Servicing on the City finisher couldn't be easier. 90% of the
machine can be accessed from the front, including the filter bags,
and all electrical and pneumatic adjustments.
The back of the machine is fully enclosed giving the triple benefits
of noise reduction, fire safety and the ability to put flush back
to a wall.
