Jos America naar Manhattan
Het Vlijmense familiebedrijf Jos America Machines BV gaat met een
nieuw concept de Amerikaanse markt bestormen: confectieschoenen
op maat maken. Een speciaal apparaat neemt digitaal de diverse maten
van de voeten en via ORTHO-KING.COM wordt de klant een breed scala
aan modieuze schoenen geboden, die dus naar maat aangepast kunnen
worden. Via ORTHO-KING.COM wordt het schoeisel niet meer lokaal
gemaakt, maar bij aangesloten fabrieken, voornamelijk in Europa.
Een vooraanstaand bedrijf in gespecialiseerde schoenen, Eneslow
Footcare center, opende op 19 april 2007 op Park Avenue in New York
de nieuwe vestiging met dit nieuwe Nederlandse concept. De directeur
en eigenaar van het Vlijmense bedrijf, waar 50 mensen werken, ontmoetten
elkaar op een vakbeurs in Indianapolis. Sindsdien werken ze nauw
samen. Jos America levert nu het grootste deel van de technische
inrichting voor de nieuwe vestiging in New York. En de Vlijmenaren
richtten ook het opleidingscentrum voor de Footcare-studenten helemaal
in.

which is self cleaning and fully controlling all machinery.
The volume adapts fully automaticcaly
to the dust extraction needed by the employees at any time.
With an amazing low noice
level of only 58 dB(A), it was possible to place the installation
in the workshop itself,
without any problem. You will find this favourite Dutch dust
extraction system in many more US & Canadian workshops soon.
